Colour Collection

Hi Everyone,

Just completed an order for a lady who wanted something special for her dear Gran.

I thought why not 1 dozen Vanilla Bean Classic Cupcakes.  I topped them with Vanilla Bean Buttercream.  Then I decorated them with an array of coloured flowers and silver cachous.

I decided on 6 colours of the rainbow: Pink, Purple, Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue.  I think the splash of colour will really make her Gran's day!

Have a great day!  Regards Trish.

Everything Purple for 40th!

Hi Everyone,

I recently did a special order for this great gal I know that was turning 40.  She absolutely loves purple and wanted something special to give to the guests at her 40th dinner to say Thank You.

Well you only turn 40 once, so I thought a batch of my creamy, dreamy, White Mud Cupcakes topped with a rich, whipped White Chocolate Ganache would be perfect.....

I decorated the cupcakes with purple non-pariels, purple sanding sugar and White Chocolate 40's.

For that something extra special the finished cupcakes were wrapped in Purple Cupcake Wrappers!  So that all the guests could safely take home their Thank You gift, they were placed in clear boxes tied with a purple ribbon.  They were a hit with everyone on the night.

Have a great day!  Regards Trish.

Turning 5 and loves BEN 10

Hi Everyone,

There is a little guy turning 5 and he's all about BEN 10.

Naturally the theme for his Birthday Cupcakes, had to be BEN 10 and 3 dozen cupcakes from the 'Just for Kids' menu were needed to share with all his friends.

So I decided on Kids Vanilla which is a yummy vanilla buttercake & Kids Chocolate which is a yummy chocolate buttercake for the cupcakes.  Each boxed dozen had a mix of each flavour.  With time not on my side and the flood crisis happening on the east coast I searched for BEN 10 edible cupcake images and was lucky enough to find 3 dozen!

I topped each cupcake with groovy green buttercream and topped each cupcake with a BEN 10 edible image.

I hope the little guy likes his BEN 10 cupcakes!!  Happy Birthday!!

Have a great day.  Regards Trish.

Lemon Delicious...

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to you all.  I apologise for the slow start in 2011.  I have really enjoyed some rest and relaxation.

I just completed my first batch of cupcakes for 2011.

They are a unique one-off batch for a very special person I know.  I know this wonderful lady loves cakes.... and she loves lemon.
So, I made a gorgeous, fluffy lemon cupcake and topped it with Lemon Buttercream Icing.  Keeping in with the lemon theme, I then decorated the cupcakes with yellow butterflies, flowers, hearts, non pariels and just a few silver cachous and clear sugar crystals.

I think they look refreshingly amazing.  Hopefully this very special lady will too.

Have a great day!!  Regards Trish.
