Merry Christmas 2011!

Hi Everyone,

This will be my last post for 2011.  I hope you have enjoyed the cupcake making journey I travelled in 2011.  Hopefully 2012 will have many more surprises and challenges for me.

I have made a couple of Christmas orders for 2011.  I hope you enjoy the pics.

Classic Birthday Cupcakes!!

Hi Everyone,

Just completed an order for a Birthday.

5 dozen Cupcakes needed to be done, made up of 20 Banana Blend Cupcakes, 20 Carrot Crave Cupcakes and 20 Double Choc Cupcakes... All from the 'Classic' Menu.

The Banana Blend Cupcakes were topped with a delicious Cream Cheese Icing and decorated with a Yellow Sugar Wild Rose, Yellow Sanding Sugar and Pearlised Crystals.

The Carrot Crave Cupcakes were topped with a delicious Cream Cheese Icing and decorated with a White Sugar Wild Rose, Orange Sugar Crystals and Pearlised Crystals.

The Double Choc Cupcakes were topped with Chocolate Buttercream and decorated with a Red Sugar Wild Rose and Pearlised Crystals.

Decadent Birthday Cupcakes

Hi Everyone,

This morning I completed a Birthday order for cupcakes.

The Birthday Girl wanted Choc Mud cupcakes from the Morish Mud Menu and to top them off... decadent Chocolate Ganache... mmm... just what a lover of chocolate needs.

I decorated them with a single lavender wild rose and lavender sanding sugar and non-pariels.

Banana and Lemon Birthday Cupcakes for Bridget!!

Hi Everyone,

I make a special batch of cupcakes for one of the girls at work for her Birthday.  I made some Banana Blend cupcakes and also some Luscious Lemon cupcakes (which are not currently on my Classic Menu at the moment).

I topped the Banana Blend cupcakes with a smooth Cream Cheese Icing and a Banana Chip.  For the Luscious Lemon cupcakes I topped them with a very Lemony Lemon Buttercream and a cute mini sugar Japanese Flower.

I thought they looked really nice and by all accounts they tasted good too.

Boobies for the Boys

Hi Everyone

I recently made some cupcakes for one of the guys at my hubby's work as he was leaving town.  My cupcakes are a hit at my hubby's work.  So for a bit of fun I thought I would make some boobie cupcakes!

I made a dozen Choc Mud Cupcakes from the Morish Mud Menu and topped all but 1 with Vanilla Buttercream and the remaining 1 with Chocolate Buttercream.  I then set about the task of making the boobies out of confectionery candy.  I have to say it was a little time consuming, but I think the end results look pretty cool!  Hope you like the pics!!

P.S.  the boobie cupcakes were a hit and I have more orders for them!!

Scooby Dooby Doo.... Where Are You??? Sam Wants You!!!

Hi Everyone,

Late September I did a special order of cupcakes for my gorgeous nephew Sam.  It was his 8th Birthday and at the moment is crazy about Scooby Doo!  So what else is an Auntie to do.  Scooby Doo Cupcakes were the order of the day.

I made about 4 dozen Choc Mud Cupcakes (they are Sam's favourite - he loves chocolate) from the Morish Mud Menu.  I topped the cupcakes with Chocolate Flavoured Buttercream.  I coloured half the buttercream Electric Orange and half Electric Green.  Each cupcake was then decorated with a Scooby Doo Cupcake Ring.  They were a huge hit at the party and didn't last long once the kids saw them.

Mauve Cupcakes for my Mum

Hi Everyone,

I know this post is a tad late... It's about the cupcakes I make for my Mum in September!

My Mum's favourite cupcakes are Coconut Cream Cupcakes from the Classic Menu.  Whenever I make cupcakes for Mum there is simply no other choice.

So to decorate the dozen Coconut Cream Cupcakes, I decided to lace the piping bag with a gorgeous Electric Mauve food colour before piping the Coconut Buttercream.  Of course, my Mum's cupcakes were decorated with the rose swirl and topped off with 2 mini sugar japanese flowers and sugar crystals.  I hope you like the pics.

By the way, my Mum loved her cupcakes!!!!

Delish Cupcakes for Deanne

Hi Everyone,

I recently made cupcakes for a work colleague for her birthday.

I decided on Vanilla Bean Cupcakes from the Classic Menu.  I topped them with Vanilla Bean Buttercream and decorated each one with 2 sugar Frangipani's and sprinkled them with crystalised sugar.

 

Everyone enjoyed the Cupcakes.

Pretty Pink Princess Cupcakes for Tailah Mai's 5th Birthday!!!

Hi Everyone,

I had to make a very special order of cupcakes for the Most Beautiful Girl In The World that I know...

My gorgeous niece Tailah Mai who recently celebrated her 5th Birthday.

I made a dozen Pink Velvet cupcakes from the Classic Menu (Pink Velvet instead of Red Velvet because Pink is Tailah's favourite colour).  I then topped them with pretty pink buttercream and decorated them with Princess cupcake rings and pics and pearlised sugar.

I also made a dozen Pink Velvet Bite-Size cupcakes.  I topped them also with pretty pink buttercream and decorated them with a wild white rose and pearlised sugar.

They were a hit with my gorgeous niece.

Christening Cupcakes, Cupcakes & more Cupcakes!!

Hi Everyone,

On the weekend, I was honoured to make Christening Cupcakes for the most beautiful little girl Eliza Jane.

The Christening Cupcakes were Vanilla Bean flavour from the 'Classic' Menu topped with Vanilla Buttercream and decorated with Pink Cachous and Pink Booties.

I also made a dozen 'Bite-Size' Choc Mud cupcakes topped with Chocolate Buttercream and decorated with a Yellow Wild Rose and a dozen 'Bite-Size' White Mud cupcakes topped with Vanilla Buttercream and decorated with a Lavender Wild Rose.

Finally I made a dozen Red Velvet cupcakes from the 'Classic' Menu, topped with Red Swirl Vanilla Buttercream and decorated with a Red Wild Rose.

Soccer Green Theme

Sorry for the lapse between posts.... I have been a bit busy on my normal job front...

I recently did an order for a Mum for her 11 year old son for his birthday.  She didn't want anything girlie and she did mention soccer at one point in our conversation.

She chose 1 dozen Vanilla Bean cupcakes from the 'Classic' Menu and 1 dozen Coconut Cream cupcakes from the 'Classic' Menu.

I baked the cupcakes in Soccer themed baking cups and topped them with White Buttercream and decorated them with Green Sanding Sugar and White Pearlised Sugar Crystals.

Bite-Size Treats for Birthday Celebration!

Recently completed an order for 2 dozen Bite-Size Kids Chocolate cupcakes for a Birthday.  This little guy loves BEN 10 & fishing.

So 1 dozen Bite-Size Kids Chocolate cupcakes were decorated with green and blue Buttercream and topped with BEN 10 cupcake rings.  The other dozen Bite-Size Kids Chocolate cupcakes were decorated with green and blue Buttercream and topped with little coloured candy fish.

Final Orders for Easter...

Well, I just completed my last orders for Easter.

This time there was a dozen Choc Mud cupcakes from the 'Morish Mud' menu topped with Whipped Chocolate Ganache and decorated with sugar Easter Toppers.

Also a dozen Double Choc cupcakes from the 'Classic' menu topped with Whipped Chocolate Ganache and Mocha Buttercream, decorated with sugar Easter Toppers.

Finally, a mixed dozen of Double Choc and Vanilla Bean cupcakes from the 'Classic' menu topped with Chocolate Buttercream and Vanilla Bean Buttercream, decorated with sugar Easter Toppers.

30th Birthday Sweet Decadent Cupcakes!!

This was a special order I did for someone very, very special to me to celebrate his 30th Birthday.  He loves Chocolate so the decision was easy...

I made Choc Mud Cupcakes from the 'Morish Mud' menu, topped with Whipped Chocolate Ganache and decorated with a blue candy 30 on each cupcake.  I also boxed these gorgeous decadent treats for the guests at his 30th Birthday dinner.

Sweet Easter Treats for the Boys...

I did a dozen cupcakes for my hubby's workmates for Easter.

The dozen was a mix of 'Classic' Menu Vanilla Bean cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Buttercream topped with solid Chocolate Easter eggs and 'Morish Mud' Choc Mud cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream topped with solid Chocolate Easter eggs.

I'm pretty sure they liked them as all that came home was the empty box!!

Bite-Size Easter Treats

Hi Everyone,

2 ladies placed an order for Bite-Size Easter Treats.

The first order was for a dozen Bite-Size Coconut Cream and a dozen Bite-Size Vanilla Bean.  Coconut Cream are coconut milk infused cupcakes with coconut buttercream topped with Easter Sugar Toppers, Little speckled eggs and Pastel and Bright Easter Sprinkles.  Vanilla Bean are vanilla, vanilla bean cupcakes with vanilla bean buttercream topped with Easter Sugar Toppers, Little speckled eggs and Pastel and Bright Easter Sprinkles.

The second order was for 2 1/2 dozen Bite-Size Coconut Cream and 1/2 dozen Bite-Size Choc Mint Mix with a twist.  Coconut Cream are coconut milk infused cupcakes with coconut buttercream topped with Easter Sugar Toppers, Little speckled eggs and Pastel and Bright Easter Sprinkles.  Choc Mint Mix are a chocolate cupcake with choc mint infused buttercream topped with solid Mint Crisp Easter eggs.

Easter Treats for Little & Big Kids!

Hi Everyone,

I have a few orders for Easter...

This first order was for two ladies for their families for their Easter Trip away.  I had lots of fun with this order catering for both the little kids and the big kids (i.e. the parents)!!

I decided on Bite-Size Kids Chocolate for the kids and decorated them in an array of colours and topped them with easter egg cupcake rings, little speckled eggs, chook sugar toppers and bright easter egg sprinkles.

For the parents I decided on decadent 'Morish Mud' Choc Mud cupcakes with Whipped Chocolate Ganache and topped with White, Dark and Milk Chocolate solid Easter Eggs.

I think all the 'KIDS' will enjoy their Easter treats this year!!  HAPPY EASTER!!

Jewels of the Jewellery Party!

Hi Everyone,

I have been a little busy of late, hence the long time no blog!

I recently did an order of cupcakes from the 'Classic' Menu for a jewellery party.  I decided on 4 flavours, and the flavours are: Coconut Cream, Passion Plus, Red Velvet and Vanilla Bean.

Coconut Cream is a delicious coconut milk infused cupcake with coconut buttercream, topped with shredded coconut.  Passion Plus is a passionfruit pulp infused cupcake with vanilla buttercream, topped with passionfruit pulp.  Red Velvet is a lush cocoa infused red cupcake with vanilla buttercream, topped with red sanding sugar.  Vanilla Bean is a very vanilla, vanilla bean cupcake with vanilla bean buttercrean topped with 3 white wild roses.

On the cupcake stand I think they look like jewels on display.  They also went down a treat with the ladies at the party.

Giant Choc Mud Chocolate Cupcake!!

Hi Everyone,

This is my first attempt at a Giant Cupcake.

I decided on Choc Mud batter from the Morish Mud menu, centre filled with Chocolate Ganache and decorated with Chocolate Buttercream and White Chocolate Buttercream!!

This is the most decadent cupcake I have made so far and my hubby assures me it was worth the wait...

I took heaps of pics as I was so proud of this first attempt at a Giant Cupcake!

Spongebob Birthday Surprise

Just completed an order for a dozen Kids Chocolate cupcakes from the 'Just for Kids' Menu.

This birthday boy likes Spongebob... so Spongebob it was to be!!!

I made a dozen delicious Chocolate cupcakes and topped them with a yummy Chocolate Buttercream.  I then decorated the cupcakes with Spongebob Icing toppers.

Morning Tea Delights...

I'm back after my short break. 

I finished an order for 4 dozen Bite-Size Cupcakes from the 'Classic' Menu.

Firstly, a batch of my favourite, Coconut Cream, a coconut milk infused cupcake, topped with Coconut Buttercream and shredded coconut.

Then a batch of Passion Plus, a passionfruit pulp infused cupcake, topped with Vanilla Buttercream and drizzled with passionfruit pulp.

Also a batch of American Southern Style Red Velvet cupcakes, topped with Vanilla Buttercream.

Lastly, a batch of Gluten-Free Vanilla Bean cupcakes, topped with Vanilla Bean Buttercream and a white wild rose.
