Lemon Delicious...

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to you all.  I apologise for the slow start in 2011.  I have really enjoyed some rest and relaxation.

I just completed my first batch of cupcakes for 2011. 

They are a unique one-off batch for a very special person I know.  I know this wonderful lady loves cakes.... and she loves lemon. 
So, I made a gorgeous, fluffy lemon cupcake and topped it with Lemon Buttercream Icing.  Keeping in with the lemon theme, I then decorated the cupcakes with yellow butterflies, flowers, hearts, non pariels and just a few silver cachous and clear sugar crystals.

I think they look refreshingly amazing.  Hopefully this very special lady will too.

Trish, you are a wonder - the cupcakes were so yummy. The lemon buttercream is delightful. Thank you so much for them - I felt very privileged and spoilt receiving them.
